Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the debut of the original "egg mouse", the pioneering ELECOM design, a new EGG MOUSE was released featuring more sophisticated design. The smooth rounded shape of an egg and the familiar tactile sensation was effectively and attractively incorporated in the new design.

Design wise, the shaded edge line of a real egg is subtly transformed into the arc that divides the mouse's body into two sections. The incorporated scroll wheel uses the motif of a sliced boiled egg, with egg yolk yellow at its center.

This mouse has been thoroughly simplified to incorporate only basic functions for everyone to use.

Winner of 2009 Good Design Award (Japan).
