Today, we are facing an ever-growing threat to the environmental health of this planet. At the same time, the intricate balance and network of biodiversity is also being challenged. We, humans, may be partly (if not mainly) to blame! As the lack of progress towards sustainability is visibly evident, we all need to start taking part before it really becomes too late... Project “FRAMING EARTH” is a step in reminding ourselves of such events happening around the world. In doing so, we hope to send the message that it is never too late to make a difference and to contribute in making our future a better place for all. 6 designers from the U.S., Japan and Taiwan have stood up to take part in this project to showcase their concerns and interpretation. They were given 2 clear pin-up frames (made out of PET recyclable material) and 30 days to translate their design message to “frame it” inside the pin-up frame.
